Job summary

MediaTek in Singapore invites applications for a 2027 campus hire position as an System Application Engineer. The role focuses on developing test programs for automated equipment to characterize RF/microwave circuits and assisting IC designers in troubleshooting RF systems.

You will design RF/system PCBs, coordinate fabrication and board population, and prepare evaluation boards for RF testing. A degree in EE with RF emphasis and experience with PCB CAD tools are required.

Qualifications

• BEng./MSc./MEng. in EE with emphasis on RF/microwave design.
• Experience in RF PCB design and use of PCB CAD tools.
• Prior experience using OrCAD and PADS is highly preferred.
• Experience testing and characterizing RF circuits with RF/microwave test equipment.
• Experience using LabVIEW and Python is highly preferred.
• Understanding of wireless standards (3GPP/GNSS/Bluetooth/WiFi) is desirable.
• Soldering básico for SMT components.

Responsibilities

• Develop test programs for automated test equipment to characterize analog/RF/mixed-signal circuits and RF systems.
• Assist IC designers in characterizing and troubleshooting RF/microwave circuits and systems.
• Design schematic and layout of RF/system PCBs for characterization and coordinate fabrication.
• Prepare components for RF/system evaluation boards and coordinate population of boards.
