Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an RF Microwave Engineer to design, analyze, and test RF/Microwave components. The role involves sourcing components and conducting performance testing in both lab and field environments. Candidates must have a degree in Electrical or RF/Microwave Engineering and knowledge of RF/Microwave circuits and measurement equipment. Hands-on experience with simulation software is advantageous. The position may require working at customer sites and outdoor activities.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of RF/Microwave circuits and components.
• Experience with RF/Microwave measurement equipment required.
• Familiarity with RF/Microwave simulation software is a plus.

Job description

RF Microwave Engineer

Our esteemed client is looking for RF Microwave Engineers to provide services to their customers. This role will be attached to customer’s premise.

Responsibilities

• Involve in design, analysis and testing of RF/Microwave components and systems for the Customer.
• Work with vendors to source for the required COTS components to build and test the RF/ Microwave subsystems.
• Conduct performance testing, measurement and troubleshooting of the RF/ Microwave components and systems in lab and field environments.
• Develop the test plans, procedures and reports.
• Preparation of technical documentation, reports and design specifications and drawings.
• Involved in System installation, checkout, integration and testing activities.

Requirements

• Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or RF/ Microwave Engineering or equivalent.
• knowledge of RF/ Microwave circuits and components such as pulsed power amplifiers, circulator, isolator, waveguides and antennas.
• Knowledge in RF/ Microwave simulation software and tools e.g. CST Microwave Studio, ANSYS High Frequency System Simulator or Keysight ADS, will be a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with RF/ Microwave measurement equipment e.g. Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, Vector Network Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope.
• Some of the work may be done outdoors and at Customer site.
• Willing to be attached to the Customer’s premises.
