Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
- Supervise and support retail staff in their day-to-day duties.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service and engagement.
- Assist in training and onboarding of new staff.
- Monitor shift schedules, breaks, and staff deployment to maintain efficiency.
Sales & Customer Service
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service.
- Handle customer feedback, queries, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
- Promote upselling and cross-selling initiatives among team members.
Store Presentation & Standards
- Ensure visual merchandising and product displays meet brand and promotional guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store, including stockrooms and POS areas.
- Monitor store safety, hygiene, and adherence to airport and company security protocols.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries.
- Conduct stock counts and help minimize stock loss through proper control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Store Manager for timely replenishment.
Cash Handling & Reporting
- Perform POS transactions, refunds, and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate daily reporting and assist in sales audits when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays (based on airport shift rotations).
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and POS operations.
- Physically fit to manage stock and assist with store setup or replenishment.
- Able to work rotating shifts (including early morning and night shifts if necessary).
