Job Description
Team Leadership
- Supervise and train department staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
- Create work schedules and delegate tasks to optimize department productivity.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
Customer Service & Sales Management
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a welcoming and positive shopping environment.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve department goals.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional activities and displays.
- Analyze sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Inventory Control & Merchandising
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in alignment with company guidelines.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, organized, and attractively displayed.
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to optimize product placement.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels and replenishment.
- Assist in ordering and receiving merchandise as needed.
- Maintain accurate records related to sales, inventory, and staffing.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare reports for management on department performance and staffing needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous retail supervisory experience or relevant management experience.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the retail industry.
