About Our Client

Our client is a leading company in the retail industry, specializing in high-quality coffee machines, capsules, and accessories for both individual customers and businesses. We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-driven Sales Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering a top-tier shopping experience by offering personalized service and promoting premium coffee products.

Full-Time Permanent Position – 5-Day Work Week, 44 Hours (Shift Work)

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, contributing to a positive shopping environment.
  • Understand customer preferences to offer personalized product recommendations and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Master detailed product knowledge across over 60 coffee capsule SKUs, including intensity, origin, flavour notes, and taste profiles.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers on coffee machines and brewing techniques.
  • Guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions and help them navigate product choices.
  • Accurately process point-of-sale transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring the store remains organized and clean.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and consistently provide excellent customer service.
Key Requirements
  • A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about premium coffee products.
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage multiple customer interactions effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers confidently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
