Job description

The successful candidate will offer immaculate service at our retail store fronts located at Raffles Place, Bugis+ and 313 Sommerset. This role is open for Lamy pens, our exclusive and luxury pen series. It will be 5 days retail hours.

General Duties

• Providing customer service: Sales associates provide superior customer service by welcoming customers, addressing their inquiries, and assisting them in finding the required products. This includes demonstrating product features, answering pricing, availability, and feature-related questions, and responding in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
• Conducting sales transactions: Sales associates handle sales transactions, which involve processing cash, credit, and debit card payments with accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, they are responsible for highlighting any promotions and taking the opportunity to upsell by promoting ink or refill options to customers.
• Maintaining product knowledge: Promoter must be knowledgeable about the company's products, including their unique features, advantages, pricing, and any current promotional activities.
• Merchandising and inventory management: Sales associates are responsible for merchandising products in the store by ensuring they are appropriately displayed and stocked. They are also accountable for managing inventory levels and conducting quarterly inventory counts.
• Meeting sales targets: Sales associates are expected to meet or exceed sales targets and goals and maybe incentivised based on their sales performance.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and organisation: Sales associates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the store, which involves restocking shelves, removing trash, and ensuring that the sales floor is neat.
• Following company policies and procedures: Sales associates must follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to sales, customer service, and security guidelines.
