Responsibilities
- Oversee daily sales floor operations and ensure smooth execution of business plans to meet sales and profit targets.
- Lead and motivate sales staff and promoters to achieve performance goals while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sales areas, fitting rooms, stock rooms, and merchandise displays.
- Conduct on-the-job training for staff on service etiquette, selling techniques, product knowledge, grooming standards, and POS usage.
- Monitor staff and promoter performance, discipline, and grooming to ensure high service standards.
- Plan and manage monthly staff rosters to optimize manpower allocation.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly; build relationships with regular customers and maintain accurate records.
- Approve returns, exchanges, and credit vouchers in accordance with company procedures.
- Support boutique assistance calls via Duty Phone.
- Assist in implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and minimize losses.
- Contribute to online store sales enhancement and recommend merchandise mix based on market trends.
- Support development of new concepts and coordinate with brands for promotions and marketing.
- Source and negotiate with vendors/suppliers for favorable terms and plan major vendor programs.
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis; provide feedback and recommendations.
- Plan and execute advertising and promotional activities, including merchandise zoning and display in collaboration with Visual Display team.
- Support digital marketing initiatives to boost customer engagement and sales.
- Prepare and analyze sales and profit reports; manage stock inventory and facilitate stock movement.
- Conduct shortage control audits and review supplier sales performance.
- Ensure staff and promoters follow safety and security procedures; report shoplifting incidents.
- Ensure proper documentation for maintenance and renovation logistics; coordinate meetings with suppliers and M&E when necessary.
Requirements
- Prior experience in leading and managing retail teams in merchandising, customer service, or retail operations is required.
- Strong negotiation skills with external vendors and suppliers.
- Solid understanding of luxury fashion labels and market trends.
- Ability to analyze sales data and prepare reports.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and e-commerce platforms is an added advantage.
