Job summary

A leading academic health system in Singapore is looking for a Retail Associate to manage daily operations and provide excellent customer service. The role involves responsibilities such as monitoring customer flow, handling cash transactions, and maintaining inventory. Candidates should possess GCE N' or O' Level certification and 1-2 years of retail experience, ideally in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Qualifications

  • Min. 1-2 years' experience as a retail associate, bonus if have prior experience in pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work well in teams and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Open the store punctually and ensure all systems are ready for daily operations.
  • Monitor customer flow and actively manage queues to minimize waiting times.
  • Prepare cash floats and ensure readiness for transactions.
  • Promote special offers and assist with upselling initiatives.
  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in retail areas, storage spaces, and shop floors.
  • Safeguard store assets, including stock, premises, and stored information.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and records for all equipment used in the pharmacy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish items as required.
  • Handle goods receipt processes, inter-branch transfers, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with cycle counts and stock-taking exercises.

5.5 days work week (Mon – Fri and half Sat), office hours.

Responsibilities
Operational Support
  • Open the store punctually and ensure all systems are ready for daily operations.
  • Monitor customer flow and actively manage queues to minimize waiting times.
  • Prepare cash floats and ensure readiness for transactions.
  • Promote special offers and assist with upselling initiatives.
  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in retail areas, storage spaces, and shop floors.
  • Safeguard store assets, including stock, premises, and stored information.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and records for all equipment used in the pharmacy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenish items as required.
  • Handle goods receipt processes, inter-branch transfers, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with cycle counts and stock-taking exercises.
Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate daily sales and transaction records.
  • Perform data entry into inventory and stock management systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Organize and file retail and inventory documents in a neat and systematic manner.
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports for analysis and operational checks.
  • Support in onboarding and training of new staff on pharmacy and retail workflows.
  • Conduct briefings for promotional staff or team members as required.
Key Requirements
  • Min. GCE N’ or O’ Level Certificate
