Roles & Responsibilities

Museum Art & Co is currently accepting applications for both Part-time and Contract Retail Associate (RA1) positions for a new retail concept focus on unique jewellery accessories retail sector.

Sales Driven, committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Salary: $1,800 - $2,100 onwards + Attractive Commission

Working Hours: 7 hours (11am - 6pm) or 6 hours (3pm - 9pm)

Must work on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Creates a highly positive experience for customers that supports the store mission and encourages repeat visitation and positive word of mouth for Museum Art & Co Stores.
• Proactively engages with customers to drive conversion and sales and create a memorable customer experience.
• Maintains a professional and positive presence on the sales floor.
• Performs register transactions including sales, memberships, and email capture.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists in making selections.
• Executes daily stock maintenance by ensuring that all merchandise and fixtures are signed, displayed, lit, and clean.
• Opens and closes cash registers and is held for any discrepancies noted by the manager.
• Assists managers in periodic training programs for new staff.
• Advises Assistant Manager, Operations on out-of-stock merchandise and inventory discrepancies.
• Performs any other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.

Requirements

• Minimum N Levels education required.
• No work experience in retail sales required (Training will be provided).
• Strong verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to perform physical tasks as needed.
• Interest in jewelry accessories is desirable.
• Fluency in a foreign language is a plus.
