About the role

Albert Hoo Electrical Pte Ltd is expanding! We are seeking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Retails & Store assistant to join our team. This full‑time position is based in our Ang Mo Kio store, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service and assisting customers with their electrical and appliance needs.

What you’ll be doing

1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
2. Assist customers in finding the right products and provide expert advice and recommendations
3. Demonstrate product features and functionality to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
4. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
5. Maintain store displays and ensure the sales floor is well‑stocked and organized
6. Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer inquiries or concerns
7. Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

What we’re looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer‑facing retail or sales role, preferably in the electrical or hardware knowledge
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
3. Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to process transactions accurately
4. A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a well‑organized and visually appealing store environment
5. A passion for the retail industry and a genuine desire to exceed customer expectations
6. Mandarin speaker and MS Office will be an advantage to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients
