About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Retail Administrative Assistant to join our team at Popular Book Company Pte Ltd in Singapore. This full-time role will provide vital administrative support to our busy retail operations, ensuring the smooth running of our stores and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing
  • Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the retail management team
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to store operations
  • Assisting with inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and organisation
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of in-store events and promotions
  • Performing general office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective delivery of services
What we're looking for
  • Minimum GCE N or O Level qualification with at least 1 year of retail experience, along with prior experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant computer software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
