A local food shop in Singapore is seeking an experienced chief cook specialized in typical Chinese food and traditional Taiwan cuisine. The ideal candidate must have at least three years of experience, be able to work split shifts, and be a team player willing to manage kitchen operations and train an assistant while ensuring food hygiene standards are met. This position requires availability on weekends and public holidays.
Foodshop within neighbourhood vicinities requires chief cook for typical Chinese food and traditional Taiwan cuisine.
Must be able to work spilt-shift (i.e. 10am to 2pm and 4.30pm to 8.30pm).
Must be able to work on weekend and public holidays.
Must have good knowledge about food hygiene.
Must be willing to impart your cooking skills to your assistant.
Must be able to co-ordinate well with the counter-staffs.
Must know how to take inventory to ensure no shortage of ingredients at all times (however not to stock-pile especially those perishable items).
Must have at least three years of similar working experience.
Must be a team player.
