Job summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled AI/ML engineer within the Global Responsible AI team to design, deploy and monitor responsible AI solutions. You will work on bias reduction, robustness, explainability and regulatory alignment across the AI lifecycle.

The role involves collaborating with data scientists, engineers and clients, contributing to internal guidelines and training, and staying ahead of AI ethical standards. A strong programming and cloud background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, AI, Data Science or related field or equivalent work exp required
• 3+ years of experience in ML model development and deployment
• 2+ of the following areas: statistics, ML methods, NLP, CV, or related fields
• 5+ years of hands-on programming in Python, R or Java
• Experience with ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TF, PyTorch) and rapid API development (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Version control experience (GitHub, Bitbucket) and data processing
• Cloud services knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with complex datasets and data preprocessing
• Demonstrated ability in prompt injection testing and model vulnerability assessment
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices and documentation workflows

The work:

• Developing and implementing AI models and solutions, focusing on ethical and responsible practices.


• Detecting, evaluating, and applying relevant RAI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness explainability etc.) in AI systems; work on mitigating the identified risks.


• Supporting client sales conversations and proposal preparation


• Optimizing and maintaining existing AI systems for enhanced performance and adherence to ethical standards.


• Participating in the full AI development lifecycle, including data preparation, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.


• Contributing to the development of internal guidelines, best practices for responsible AI development and technical training.


• Staying updated with current AI trends, ethical considerations, and technological advancements.


• Assisting in the identification and correction of biases in datasets and AI models.


• Documenting AI development processes and maintain a transparent record of decisions and methodologies used.

Here’s What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields OR equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models and AI solutions.


• At least 2 from the following: Statistics and Probability Theory, Regression Modelling, Clustering Methods, Time Series Forecasting, Tree Ensembles Deep Learning, Neural Networks Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, Computer Vision, Image Recognition Machine Learning Visualization Tools


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the following: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java.


• Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).


• Rapid API development with standard frameworks and tools (E.g. Django, Flask, FastAPI).


• Fundamental version control practices and proficiency in version control platforms (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket).


• Experience with database management and data processing.


• Understanding and working knowledge of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) related to AI.


• Demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets and perform data preprocessing and analysis.


• Prompt injection & jailbreak testing (critical and must have demonstrated experience)


• Model vulnerability assessment (critical)
