Job description

Responsibilities

• To carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety.
• Undertake any other duties related to the project assigned.
• To ensure that all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.
• To liaise with the contractors in the coordination of site works and resolving site installation problems.
• Maintain a daily site records and submit weekly progress report with photographs to the Consultant/Project Lead.
• To proactively highlight issue and any unusual site findings to the Consultant/Project Lead to ensure solutions or directions are given in a timely manner.
• Able to work under pressure with ability to work independently

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from Singapore Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing/ be accredited by JAC of IES / ACES as QSS.
• minimum 3 Years of experience in nature to Works in Civil Contracts and Experience in Supervision of Mining works
• National Certificate on Construction Supervision from BCA or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations, as well as technical knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project for project update and report.
