Job summary

A local engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (Tunnel) to supervise large civil and infrastructure projects, including the Cross Island Line. Candidates must have at least four years of experience in similar projects and a diploma in civil discipline. MRT project experience is advantageous. This position requires shift work and accreditation under IES/ACES.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to civil contracts.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in supervision of deep excavation/basement works.
• Accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

Overview

Resident Technical Officer (Tunnel) – The job involves the supervision of large civil and infrastructure projects such as the Cross Island Line and supervision of production for precast elements for super structures in HDB projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise large civil and infrastructure projects such as the Cross Island Line and supervision of production for precast elements for super structures in HDB projects.
• Provide supervision for RTOs for both Station and Bored Tunnel Works as applicable.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience in projects similar in nature to the Works in the Civil Contracts (RTO Tunnel).
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in supervision of deep excavation/basement works (RTO Station).
• Shift works are required.
• MRT project experience will be an advantage.
• Diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent.
• Accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• RTO (Tunnel) shall be accredited as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) (Tunnel) under IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.
