Job description

Resident Technical Officer

$4,000 – $6,800 per month
6 days/ week
Day & Night Shift/ working hour (Only discuss during interview session with hiring manager)
6-month contract (with potential to convert to permanent based on performance)

Responsibilities:

• Good co-ordination skills and good technical knowledge of M&E systems/ equipment, including security systems.
• To carry out regular site supervision and inspection of the works/materials including any off-site production as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that mechanical and electrical works, including security systems, are constructed to required quality, accuracy and workmanship.
• To monitor work in progress in accordance to Approved Master Schedules with breakdown to Monthly, Weekly and Daily programmes.
• To assist the RE on daily, weekly and monthly reports of site progress as per contractor’s approved program, activities, issues and resolutions.
• To check and verify reports, variations and progress claims submitted by contractors, including as built quantity for the variations.
• To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the SO and RE.

Requirements:

• M&E or Electrical Background.
• Relevant experience in cable works / utilities road works.

• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.
• Have own transport (travelling to remote areas)
