Job description

Connect Energy partners with an engineering consultancy firm to recruit this role for their tunnel / reclamation projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Resident Engineer (RE) and company's representative to oversee and enforce specification and code.
• Assist RE to review and approve design calculations and drawing at site
• Proactive in providing periodic site progress update
• Maintain and control site records as required
• Ensure appropriate and consistent documentation of inspection and test, to be in conformance with regulations set forth by BCA
• Arrange and witness Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Test
• Conducts inspections and certify value of work completed for RE's recommendation for Contractor's progress payment to be made
• Liaise with all parties involved in the project

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Min. 5 years experience in site supervision works, preferably in waste water treatment plant related projects.
• IT literate and process good documentation skills
• Self starter, diligent and ability to work in a team.
• Willing to consider 2 + 2 years contract
