Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a site supervisor with 5-10 years of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical projects. Responsibilities include overseeing key installations and ensuring compliance with various regulations. The candidate should possess a diploma in engineering and be familiar with inspection submission processes. Qualifications

• Registered M&E RTO with BCA Singapore.
• Familiarity with FSC testing, TOP submission flow, and common system testing requirements.

• Supervise key installations including HVAC, fire protection, process piping, electrical, and control systems.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings

Education

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of construction drawings, schematics, SLDs, and layout plans.
• Proactively identify on-site design conflicts or issues and coordinate with designers for resolution.
• Support RFIs and constructability reviews with the design team.
• Support and witness SAT, TAB, and functional performance tests.
• Review material deliveries, installation quality, and documentation to ensure conformance.
• Supervise key installations including HVAC, fire protection, process piping, electrical, and control systems.
• Assist in preparing compliance documentation and test plans for FSC and TOP submissions.
• Ensure compliance with NEA (exhaust systems, chemical handling), PUB (plumbing, condensate, chilled water drainage), and SCDF (fire protection/FSSD submissions).
• Maintain daily site diary, photo records, NCR logs, and track rectifications.
• Attend coordination meetings with contractors, designers, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• 5 - 10 years of site experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or GMP projects.
• Knowledge of SCDF, PUB, NEA submission and approval processes.
• Familiarity with FSC testing, TOP submission flow, and common system testing requirements.
• Registered M&E RTO with BCA Singapore.
• Capable of reading and interpreting M&E drawings; experience in technical clarifications (RFIs) is advantageous.
• Diploma in engineering disciplines, preferably mechanical or electrical.
