Job summary
A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced site supervisor to ensure timely execution of construction works and maintain quality control. Candidates should have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably as Resident Technical Officer. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in site supervision.
 - Preferably registered as Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES.
 - Familiar with local codes & regulations.
 
Responsibilities
- Perform all roles required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
 - Supervise timely execution of works and maintain quality control.
 - Check mock-ups done on site when necessary.
 - Ensure required construction tests are carried out where necessary.
 - Prepare defect lists and monitor progress of rectification works.
 - Write daily reports of works and record manpower status on site.
 - Inspect and maintain records of equipment and permits.
 - Ensure structural elements are carried out per approved plans.

Responsibilities
- To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
 
- To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions.
 
- To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.
 
- To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary.
 
- To prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified.
 
- Write daily reports of works done by contractor and record daily manpower status on site.
 
- Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits (both statutory and aviation requirements).
 
- To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.
 
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
 
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the supervision of A&A, data hall fit-out works.
 
- Preferably registered as Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES.
 
- Familiar with local codes & regulations.
 
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel for project update and reports.
 
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
