We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Technical Officer (M&E) to join our team at Quek Hock Seng Construction Pte Ltd in the Jurong East West Region. As a full-time employee, you will play a vital role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical installations and maintenance within our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the execution of M&E works on site, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Monitor and inspect the quality of M&E installations to identify and resolve any issues
• Liaise with subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and other project-related records
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of M&E activities to optimise project timelines and resources
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as needed

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection
• Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the project team and stakeholders
• Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
