Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking a mid-senior level Registered Technical Officer to supervise and coordinate Mechanical & Electrical works for staff housing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in M&E Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of relevant local experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with local codes and standards, site inspection, and project monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Technical Officer on local projects.
• Experience in supervision of residential projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Scope of works includes supervision and co-ordination of all Mechanical & Electrical works for the A&A works to staff housing blocks
• Ensure that all installations are in accordance with the Working / Approved Drawings, and applicable local Codes, Regulations and Standards.
• To attend site meetings and site walks with developer and consultants as required.
• Assist the Consultants in supervision and inspection of construction work on site
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards
• Maintain and update site records on project progress
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship of M&E works on site
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma in (M&E) Engineering/ Building
• Registered resident technical officer with IES / ACES
• Minimum 5 years of experience as RTO on local project
• Experience in supervision of similar residential project would be added advantage
• Contract Period : estimated 38 months
• Commencement Date : estimated Nov 2020
