Job summary

A leading engineering and architectural firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Inspector to monitor structural and architectural finishes for major infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a recognized RTO qualification, and strong knowledge of LTA standards. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with approved specifications, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of site experience preferably with large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and fire safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage complex interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Check and monitor structural and architectural finishes for the Rail Depot at Changi.
  • Monitor installation of façade systems, cladding, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and signage.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and witness tests as required.
  • Maintain inspection records and prepare daily logs and reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Check and monitor structural and architectural finishes for the Rail Depot at Changi comprising buildings, tracks, road, services and ancillary structures
  • Monitor installation of façade systems, cladding, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, and signage etc
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and witness tests as required
  • Maintain inspection records and prepare daily logs, weekly reports, and photo documentation
  • Assist with as‑built documentation and handover
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Recognized RTO qualification and registration; Minimum 5 years of site experience preferably with large‑scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of LTA standards, building codes, and fire safety regulations
  • Excellent coordination skills across multiple disciplines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Detail‑oriented with strong QA/QC mindset and ability to manage complex interfaces
