Job summary

A leading electrical company in Singapore seeks a skilled technician for electrical work. Responsibilities include modifying switchgears, laying transformer cables, and installing transformers and low voltage switchgear. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in high voltage equipment and PLC systems. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PLC & SCADA systems required.

Responsibilities

• Modify 22kV switchgear to transformer panel.
• Supply & lay 22kV transformer cables with excavation.
• Install a 2 MVA transformer and LVSG as per specifications.

Job description

Electrical Work which consists of the following:

i.Modify of 22kV switchgear spare panel to transformer panel at TDP’s 22kV Substation.

ii. Supply & lay 22kV transformer cable from TDP to RNDF. It includes excavation and reinstatement of roads and reinstatement.

iii.SIC of a containerized electrical house, from the product range of the manufacturer to house both the new 2 MVA transformer and Low Voltage Switchgear (LVSG).

iv.SIC of 1 no. of 2 MVA 22/0.415kV transformer at RNDF.

v.SIC of 1 no. of 3000A, 65kA LVSG.

vi.SIC of 3 nos. of stainless-steel LCP (1 set for TDP’s brine outfall system, 1 set at TDP’s seawater intake system and 1 set at RNDF’s wasterwater sump system)

vii.Supply & lay 3 sets of LV cable (1 sets from Brine outfall to LVSG, 1 set from Seawater intake to LVSG, 1 set from wastewater sump at R&D to LVSG).

viii.Design and outfitting work for the standalone PLC & SCADA system.

ix.SIC of MCB, electrical cables, relays, terminal blocks, power supply, power transient protections, signal line surge protection devices, lightning protection system and fuses for the entire ICA system and equipment.

x.SIC of Flowmeters (5 nos.), Level Switches (7 nos.), Level Transmitters (4 nos.) and Water Quality (WQ) analyzers (6 nos.) with all ancillary items.

xi.Replacement of faulty neon light indicator, circuit breaker open & close indicator lamp, power meter and DB panel door for existing electrical installation in RNDF.
