Job summary

AKV CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Site Supervisor (RTO) to oversee civil and structural works on site in Singapore.

The role involves ensuring compliance with Building Control Act, conducting on-site and off-site mock-up checks, and performing required inspections according to Authority safety requirements. The ideal candidate has at least five years as an RTO, with two years in supervision of similar works, and holds a Civil/Structural Engineering Diploma plus safety

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as RTO, with at least two (2) years in supervision of works similar to the stated works.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
• Check mock-ups on site and off site as necessary.
• Conduct inspections and checks under Authority Operational and Safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance checks on mitigating measures in method statements, risk assessments and DfS registers.
• Maintain updated daily records of all civil/structural works, MS, tests, inspections, progress, safety, site diary and equipment on site.
• Keep records timely and properly kept, including records of tests, inspections, work progress and materials on site.
