Job scope include but not limited to the following:
- To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act.
- To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents, and site instructions.
- To check all drawings and specifications to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans for discrepancies and report to the Superintending Officer/Consultant/Qualified Person as stated below:
- Check shop drawings submitted by contractor.
- Check as-built drawings submitted by contractor.
- To check on quality of materials and samples delivered to site and report to Superintending Officer/ Consultant/Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
- To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary.
- To witness all structural related onsite/offsite testing.
- Attend all site related meetings.
Qualification & Project requirements:
- Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or approved equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
- At least 8 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer
- Extensive experience in structural steelworks
- Registered with IES as Resident Technical Officer
- Work location: CBD area
- Project Type : Fit out works for office building
- Contract duration: Approx. 6 months (extendable to further 9 months if needed)
- Work hours per week: approximately 4 hours x 3 times per week
- May have night works ocassionally
- Able to start work Jan 2026
