Job summary

A civil engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a supervisor for Civil and Structural works. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications, coordinate with contractors, and conduct site inspections. Candidates should have a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in A&A building works, HDB, JTC, and LTA projects.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with IES or ACES.
• Sound knowledge of BCA regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect all C&S works for compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to resolve site-related issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and quality.
• Report deviations to the RE/SRE/QP and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare daily site reports and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect all Civil and Structural (C&S) works to ensure full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues pertaining to civil, structural, and Archi works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities to the RE/SRE/QP in a timely manner, and follow up to ensure that corrective actions are properly implemented.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports, inspection checklists, and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure that all works comply with relevant statutory regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in A&A building works, as well as HDB, JTC, and LTA projects.
• Registered Resident Technical Officer (C&S) with IES or ACES.
• Sound knowledge of BCA regulations, local codes, and workplace safety requirements.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
