Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to supervise civil, structural, and geotechnical building works. You will be accountable for reviewing contractor's drawings, ensuring permits are obtained, and conducting site inspections. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling. Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling.
• Experience in supervision of installation of monitoring instruments.
• Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings.
• Provide all necessary endorsements by relevant authorities.
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works.
• Ensure contractor has obtained necessary permits and clearances.
• Conduct site inspections for corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, agencies, and consultants.
• Review and assess all formwork structures and support systems.
• Supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Supervise installation of instrumentation.
• Supervise sanitary and plumbing installations.

Responsibilities

• To reviewall Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• Toprovide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Superviseall civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent andtemporary
• To ensurethat contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• Toconduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement correctiveactions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surroundingstructures
• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacingcontractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systemsetc
• To reviewand supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To reviewContractor's design and supervise all works

Qualifications

• Min. 3years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision ofinstallation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use ofsoftware for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.
