Job summary

A construction and engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee daily site operations for an HDB HIP project. The ideal candidate will ensure construction works meet compliance standards and oversee contractor activities. Applicants must hold relevant qualifications and possess strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in the civil/structural field.

  • Registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring construction works are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and statutory requirements.

Job Scope:
  • Monitor contractors' all type of daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/ irregularities to QPs/ Consultants/ Employer.
  • To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
  • At least 3 Years of relevant working experience and a diploma/Degree in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent.
  • Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
