Roles & Responsibilities

Resident Technical Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction & architecture related works, maintain building quality control and ensure works are carried out in accordance to specification, drawings, instruction etc.
• Supervision of the construction of the structural works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the consultant.
• Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances / irregularities to QP / Consultants / Employer.
• Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.
• Check on site quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
• Familiar with PPVC Construction would be advantage.
• To carry out all duties required of a RTO under the BCA regulation.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Job Role Requirements
