Resident Technical Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction & architecture related works, maintain building quality control and ensure works are carried out in accordance to specification, drawings, instruction etc.
- Supervision of the construction of the structural works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the consultant.
- Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
- Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances / irregularities to QP / Consultants / Employer.
- Assist in reviewing of contractor's method statements and working procedures and assure contractor followed on site.
- Check on site quality of works, materials and samples delivered to site, take measures to rectify any non-compliance and report to Superintending Officer / Consultant / Qualified Person on any materials that are not conforming to the specifications.
- Familiar with PPVC Construction would be advantage.
- To carry out all duties required of a RTO under the BCA regulation.
Technical Skills & Competencies
Thorough understanding of local (Singapore) regulatory standards, including Approved Documents, Accessibility Code, and FSSD requirements.
- Well-versed in Technical Detailing and Drawing analysis

Job Role Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ local (Singapore) experience as a C&S / Architectural RTO
- Possess a valid RTO Certificate
- Experience in HDB BTO projects
- Registered with IES / ACES
- Good Command of Autocad / IT knowledge
- Able to work independently and positive work attitude
- Ability to follow up tasks & meet dateline pressure
- Sense of responsibility
