Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a registered Resident Technical Officer to coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with quality standards. The candidate should have a diploma, at least three years of supervisory experience in M&E projects, and be proficient in English. This role involves daily monitoring of site work and liaising between the Board and the Project Contractor.
Qualifications
- Minimally a Diploma qualified.
 - Registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA.
 - At least three years of site supervisory experience in M&E projects.
 - Literate in English and capable of using computer software.
 
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and liaise between the Board and the Project Contractor.
 - Arrange and supervise Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Test.
 - Check on the quality of materials delivered to site.
 - Assist in verifying transmittals and method statements.

Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and liaise between the Board and the Project Contractor.
 
- Arrange and supervise Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Test as may be necessary, including the review of samples submitted by Project Contractor.
 
- Check on the quality of materials delivered to site and report to the Board any material that does not conform to the specifications.
 
- Check the Project Contractor’s claims and advise the Board on appropriate actions to be taken.
 
- Assist the Board to verify all variation works carried out on site.
 
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness, tidiness, and Earth Control Measure (ECM) are provided and maintained on site, if and when required.
 
- RTO shall include daily monitoring of site works and update of daily activities done by Project Contractor as part of his job scope.
 
- RTO shall also assist in verifying transmittals, method statements, risk assessment and submission submitted by Project Contractor to ensure compliance to Specifications.
 
- RTO shall also assist to certify work done each month for Contract payment purposes to be processed by the Board.
 
Job Requirements
- Minimally a Diploma qualified
 
- The candidate must be a registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA.
 
- At least two (3) years site supervisory experience in M&E projects
 
- Must be literate in English and have adequate knowledge to use computer, reply to emails, use computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
