Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee daily site operations and ensure construction works are carried out safely and in compliance with approved plans. Job description

The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring construction works are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and statutory requirements. The role involves supervising contractor activities, identifying discrepancies, monitoring progress, and supporting the project team in ensuring quality and timely execution of all works.

Job Scope
  • Monitor contractors' all type of daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
  • Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non‑conformances/irregularities to QPs/Consultants/Employer.
  • Ensure all construction works comply with statutory requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience and a diploma/degree in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent.
  • Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
