Job summary

National University Health System (NUHS) invites applications for a Resident Physician in the Supportive and Palliative Care Service at National University Hospital. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering inpatient consultative care and hospital-based teaching, with patient care across ages and diagnoses.

Candidates should have postgraduate qualifications in internal medicine (e.g., Master of Medicine, MRCP) and be registered or registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.

Qualifications

• Must have postgraduate qualifications in internal medicine (e.g., Master of Medicine, MRCP) or equivalent.
• Registered or registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Willing to cover weekends/public holidays and participate in teaching/supervision, clinical audits and quality improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team led by a Palliative Care Consultant in the inpatient consultative service.
• Occasionally see patients in the clinic under supervision.
• Provide weekend/public holiday coverage as per departmental rostering.
• Contribute to teaching/supervision of healthcare students and to audits/quality improvement projects.
• Perform other duties as directed by Head of Department or Chairman Medical Board.
