Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in cleaning/facilities management industries.
  • Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Familiar with airport operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations.
  • Ensure fulfillment of cleaning contracts to client satisfaction.
  • Manage and instruct cleaning supervisors and staff.
  • Plan manpower, manage scheduling and attendance.
  • Resolve onsite conflicts and prepare incident reports.
  • Oversee servicing and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize resource allocation and manage labor costs.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned.

We're seeking a passionate Resident Manager to oversee our cleaning operations at Changi Airport. In this role, you will manage and lead a team of cleaning staff to ensure smooth, high-quality service delivery. Location: Changi Airport

Working hours: 6 days per week

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations.
  • Ensure that cleaning contracts are fulfilled to the satisfaction of clients and in accordance with agreed-upon service levels.
  • Effective instruction and management of supervisors/cleaners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Planning of manpower, scheduling, attendance taking etc.
  • Resolving all matters on site, e.g., conflict management and service recovery, preparation of incident reports.
  • Oversee the servicing and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Optimize resource allocation, manage labour costs, and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Other ad-hoc duties/projects assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree in Facilities Management or other discipline.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in cleaning/facilities management industries, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Familiarity with airport operations will be preferred.
  • Must be able to work on weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be IT savvy and able to become proficient at new software systems.
  • Must be well-groomed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, able to work well both independently and in a team.
