A leading engineering firm is looking for a Resident Engineer to join their team at the Tuas Water Reclamation Plant in Singapore. The successful candidate will oversee construction management, provide leadership to Resident Technical Officers, and ensure compliance with safety programs. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and experience in water projects in Singapore are essential. Qualifications

Overview

Your impact

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join our site team at Tuas Water Reclamation Plant. Jacobs role is the PUB's Consultant and Representative.

Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision of a Project / Construction Manager, Lead RE and Chief Resident Engineer, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering and construction management and supervision techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Under general supervision of a Project Manager /Construction Manager and Lead RE, carry out general contract administration and management
  • Manage and supervise Resident Technical Officer(s) (RTO) assigned to the project.
  • With additional experience within one area, the individual is expected to assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments
  • Provides leadership and accountability for the implementation, and measurable performance, of the Jacobs Beyond Health and Safety Program.
Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Civil / Structural) – from an approved university (under BCA’s list of accepted university for RE registration).
  • Registration as Resident Engineer with IES – JAC
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant construction experience. Prior experience working on Water projects in Singapore will be an added advantage.
