Job summary

A leading property development company in Singapore is looking for a Resident Engineer to supervise and inspect precast high-rise residential building projects. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, possess at least 5 years of experience, and be registered with IES/ACES. Knowledge of local authority's regulations is essential for this role, focusing on the compliance of structural and architectural works with approved standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high-rise residential building projects.
• Registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
• Knowledgeable with local authority's regulations and requirements (BCA).

Responsibilities

• Liaise and inspect with the Main Contractor's Engineer/Supervisor.
• Monitor the progress of structural inspections on all works.
• Oversee all aspects relating to the construction of the Project.

Job Description:

• To liaise and inspect with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.
• Supervision & Inspection Piling, ERSS, Deep Excavation & precast work with approved dwg, specifications, rules & regulations.
• Carry out supervision and fully responsible for all structural works carried out according to approved drawings
• To monitor the progress of structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings.
• To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings, and method of statements
• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works per the Project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.
• In Charge of RTO and their duties
• To oversee all aspects relating to the construction of the Project.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer
• Registered RE with IES
• Minimum 5 years experience as Resident Engineer in precast high-rise residential building projects.
• Knowledgable with local authority’s regulations and requirements (BCA)
