Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Singapore seeks a Site Manager for marine-related projects. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and be a registered Resident Engineer. Responsibilities include organizing site staff and ensuring compliance with construction regulations. Experience working on dredgers and piling barges is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Project. Candidates must pass security checks by the client and/or Singapore government.

Job Description
  • The candidate must possess a strong, mature and proven ability to organize, manage and motivate the site staff team and use sound judgment in relation to construction matters including good knowledge of the operation procedures for marine-related projects within Singapore waters, particularly on dredgers, piling barges etc., knowledge on MPA's rules and regulations.
  • Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer, computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Project to keep track and monitor the Project.
  • The candidates must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by Client and/or Singapore Government.
  • Familiarity with the Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC) for Construction Works.
Job Requirement
  • Minimally a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
  • The candidate must be a registered Resident Engineer with IES and must be accredited with the IES-ACES's Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC).
  • At least five (5) years site supervisory experience in marine-related projects or other related working.
  • Experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
