Job summary

A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) to lead site supervision for construction works. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognized by the PE Board and have at least 10 years of supervisory experience. Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Responsibilities
  • Lead site supervision for all civil, structural, and building construction works.
  • Assist the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on site inspections, contract matters, defect identification, and rectification works.
  • Review and respond to contractors’ RFIs, technical submissions, method statements, and instrumentation readings; coordinate with other disciplines and liaise with the design team/QP.
  • Attend and lead site meetings with clients and contractors on technical and progress matters.
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
  • At least 10 years of experience supervising civil and structural works, preferably in water/used water treatment projects.
  • Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
