A construction management firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical construction works. The role involves leading site supervision, assisting in inspections, and addressing various technical matters. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering, have around 10 years of supervisory experience in infrastructure projects, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Lead site supervision for all mechanical and building construction works.
Assist the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on site inspections, contract matters, defect identification, and rectification works.
Review and respond to contractors’ RFIs, technical submissions, method statements, and instrumentation readings; coordinate with other disciplines and liaise with the design team/QP.
Attend and lead site meetings with clients and contractors on technical and progress matters.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
Around 10 years of experience supervising mechanical works in infrastructure projects, preferably in water/used water treatment plants.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
