Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced civil and structural engineer to lead site supervision for construction works. The ideal candidate has a good degree in Civil Engineering, at least 10 years of experience in supervising water treatment projects, and is registered with the IES. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on Civil and Structural works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer on site inspection and related matters.
• Address Contractor’s RFI’s and assess method statements.
• Attend all site meetings and lead technical discussions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all the Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
• Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
