Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Engineering professional to lead site supervision teams and manage technical discussions with contractors. The ideal candidate will possess a graduate degree in Civil Engineering, at least 10 years of relevant construction experience, and be registered with IES as a Resident Engineer. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and resolve inspection issues.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team on all the Civil and Structural and Building Construction works.
• Assist Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection issues, contract related matters and support the identification of defects and supervise rectification works.
• Address and respond to all Contractor’s RFI’s and technical submittals. Other work scopes include but not limited to assess method statements/instrumentation reading, coordinate with other discipline engineers and liaise with design team/QP from HQ.
• Attend all site/project related meetings, discussions with clients and/or Contractors and to lead in technical and work progress discussions.

Qualifications

• Good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the PE Board, Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience in supervising civil and structural works in water/used water treatment works.
• Registered with IES as Resident Engineer (Civil).
• A person with good communication and leadership skills.
