Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee the HDB project at Bishan. The role includes supervising site inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining project timelines. Candidates must hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with local regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential buildings.

Responsibilities

• Provide standing supervision as directed by Consultant team.
• Witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions.
• Compile equipment and test certificates for project records.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings and perform site inspections.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.

Project: HDB at Bishan (BTO)

Job Description:

• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by Consultant team.
• Witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions performed by Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards, designs and specifications.
• Compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificated submitted by the contractors as required for the project records.
• Ensure company's safety rule is complied with.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to drawings and specifications.
• Attend site meetings and perform site inspections.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Any other task assigned from time to time.
• Tentative commencement date December 2025/January 2026.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer
• Minimum 3 years experiences as Resident Engineer in precast high rise residential building project.
• Experience in building projects, experience in HDB projects will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Preferably conversant with local codes and familiar with local authority’s regulations and requirements
