Job summary

A construction and architecture firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with a degree in Architecture and at least 10 years of site supervision experience. The candidate will manage and lead site supervisors, ensure project compliance with local codes, and oversee construction work. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Overview

Job Summary:

• Strong technical skills, able to review design details, method statements and use sound judgment to resolve site issues during the course of construction works;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work as a team player;
• Review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project;
• Monitor contractors’ schedules, day works, site progress, etc
• Check shop and construction drawings, samples, etc. submitted by contractors and their sub-contractors / suppliers / vendors and to report any discrepancies between these and the project drawings and specifications;

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or accreditation with Professional bodies of equivalent standing as Board of Architects, Singapore; and
• Possess at least 10 years of working experience and site supervision of building works, architectural elements and finishing works.
• Overall in charge of the management and control of ALL Site Supervisors, including those of OTHER disciplines,
• Provide leadership and administrative control of the other Site Supervisors, institute and maintain discipline, punctuality, keep daily records
• Conversant with local building codes and regulations, authority requirements and practices;
