  • Design and embed effective continuously monitoring and evaluation methods across research portfolio.
  • Lead the creation and dissemination of research value and impact case studies and other communications for both internal and external audiences, producing high-quality written and visual materials that clearly communicate research outcomes and impact.
  • Guide and support researchers to maximise the value and societal impact of their work, from project design to delivery.
  • Collaborate to produce shared resources, training and communications, working closely with the e.g. learning and marketing and communication teams to ensure a consistent and coherent approach to understanding and amplifying research impact across Arup.
Skills and experience

  • Extensive experience facilitating and driving research impact and a strong understanding of the spectrum of research impact pathways, including commercialisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advice, training, and practical support to Arup researchers to increase value and impact of their research.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish productive working relationships and networks with stakeholders at all levels of seniority across large global organisations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to communicate research impact in a range of different formats and to different audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience); postgraduate qualification desirable.
