Job summary

NTU's Temasek Laboratories invites a Research Scientist to advance satellite communications and passive RF sensing within the Centre for Communications and Signal Processing. You will lead cutting-edge research on NTN waveforms, oversee SDR experiments, and contribute to high-impact publications.

You will collaborate with a dynamic team, mentor students, and help drive proposals and technical progress across defense-related communications research streams.

Qualifications

PhD required in a relevant engineering field with strong research background.
Experience in satellite communications and NTN systems is essential.
Demonstrated ability to publish high-quality research.

Responsibilities

Lead and conduct research in passive RF sensing, focusing on NTN waveforms from LEO systems in harsh environments.
Develop theoretical waveform estimation methods and validate them with SDR experiments.
Supervise interns and students; review literature; plan and execute R&D activities to meet project objectives and deadlines; publish results.
Administrative duties may include safety and asset management as required by the lab.
