Job description

The HY Lab is dedicated to advancing innovative cancer therapies, with a strong focus on translational research targeting cancer-specific mutations. Supported by major national and industry-aligned programs, our mission is to accelerate platform development and clinical translation. Our research spans antibody discovery and engineering, bispecific antibody design, and T-cell–based immunotherapies, while also pioneering AI-driven and automated biomedical research pipelines.

We are currently seeking a Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist to join our interdisciplinary team.
Entry-level candidates are welcome; you will work closely with senior bioinformaticians and experimental scientists who will provide guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bioinformatics analyses for projects in antibody discovery, T-cell therapy, and multi-omics profiling (single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and methylation sequencing).
  • Develop and maintain computational pipelines for genomic, transcriptomic, and proteomic data integration.
  • Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to interpret results and guide experimental design.
  • Contribute to AI-assisted data analytics, automation, and visualization tools for translational research.
  • Support data management, documentation, and reproducibility for internal and collaborative studies.
Job Requirements
  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Cancer Genomics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R, or Bash) for biological data analysis.
  • Familiarity with NGS data, single-cell analysis, or protein modeling is advantageous.
  • Strong motivation to learn and contribute to translational cancer research.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate across computational and experimental disciplines.
  • (Preferred) Experience with cloud computing or AI tools for bioinformatics workflows.
