Job summary

National University of Singapore seeks a PhD-level researcher to collaborate with A/Prof Utkur Mirsaidov on nanoscience projects using in-situ high-resolution TEM and related techniques.

You will work on in situ and operando Electron Microscopy studies, micro/nanofabrication, device characterization, and serve as a liaison between semiconductor industry collaborators, in an international, English-speaking team.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering or Materials Science.
• Main: Electron Microscopy; programming in Python/Matlab.
• Bonus: Microfabrication experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; hardworking and resilient.

The successful candidate will work with A/Prof Utkur Mirsaidov on exciting research nanoscience projects using cutting-edge in-situ high resolution transmission electron microscopic techniques (TEM). The project is in direct collaboration with Applied Materials

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Performing in situ and operando Electron Microscopy studies.
• Responsible for micro- and nanofabrication, process developments and improvements, device characterization.
• The candidate will be the link between semiconductor industry collaborators.

Qualifications
