Job summary

NTU NTI Corporate Laboratory seeks a Research Fellow to advance oxide/nitride thin-film coatings. You will deposit and characterize coatings using PVD and CVD plasma-based processes, and perform in-depth materials analysis.

The role requires a PhD in a related field and at least two years of post-doctoral experience, with strong collaboration skills and a track record in coating characterization. You will design experiments, analyze data, and help translate lab findings into scalable solutions

Qualifications

PhD in a relevant field (Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or closely related).
Minimum 2 years of post-doctoral experience in industry or a recognized research institute.
Extensive experience in characterization of thin film coatings, especially oxide and nitride composites.
Strong collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

Operate and optimize PVD and CVD plasma-based processes for advanced thin film deposition.
Characterize oxide/nitride composite thin films and perform data collection and analysis.
Design independent experiments and interpret data to support project objectives.
Develop methods and troubleshoot processes; model and report results.
Use data analysis software and simulation tools for process optimization and reporting.
Collaborate with engineering teams to scale lab results to production-ready solutions.
