College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. Our lab advances the mathematical foundations, algorithms, and real-world applications of epistemic uncertainty in machine learning, with a strong focus on imprecise probabilities, uncertainty representation and quantification, explainability, and decision-making under uncertainty. We aim to push the boundaries of theory and practice in these areas, developing principled methods that address fundamental and applied challenges.

As an early-career researcher developing your academic profile, you will be expected to:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research in areas aligned with the group's research agenda.
  • Demonstrate research independence and produce original work that advances the state of knowledge in the field.
  • Mentor and support junior researchers and students within the group.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or equivalent.
