Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow to join the NRF Investigatorship project on interpretable and automated cryptanalysis for tailor-made cryptographic design. The role focuses on cryptography and/or machine learning research and outcomes.

The successful applicant will conduct independent research, contribute to reports and presentations, and publish results in cryptography and/or machine learning conferences and journals.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; publication record is a plus.

In order to complete the NRF Investigatorship research project “Interpretable and Automated Cryptanalysis for Tailor-Made Cryptographic Design”, the school is looking to recruit one research fellow on cryptography and/or machine learning.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in symmetric cryptanalysis/design or in state-of-the-art explainable AI solutions is a strong plus
