Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking a Research Fellow to lead the pilot plant project at PacificLight’s site, coordinating academic and industrial partners, contractors, and vendors. Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing engineering, pilot plant, or industrial R&D projects is preferred.
• Experience as a Project Manager leading full lifecycle of chemical process projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and risk management.
• Familiarity with construction, commissioning, and start-up of chemical/energy facilities is an advantage.
• Knowledge of EHS requirements and regulatory compliance for engineering projects.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and regulatory compliance for engineering projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project reporting skills.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) is desirable but not mandatory.
